Terms, Conditions, Release, and Waiver

By using this website, I acknowledge that I understand, agree with, and accept the following statements: 

•  I do hereby release, waive, and forever discharge My Acid Reflux Coach and  William Duncan Humphries from all and any liability or responsibility for damages or injuries resulting from any activities relating to or arising out of my receiving of coaching or reading his online content. I understand that these activities include, but are not limited to, physical activity and exercise,  dietary changes, alternative therapies and treatments,  changes in medication or supplements, lifestyle changes,  and emotional or stress management.  I understand that my coaching may be tailored to health concerns identified and agreed between myself and my coach. 

• I understand that William Duncan Humphries is not a medical professional of any kind. I understand that he is not a nutritionist, dietician, or mental health professional. I understand that the role of My Acid Reflux Coach is only supportive and that I will be making all my decisions of my own accord. I understand that coaching is not a substitute for medical or mental health treatment.  I understand that health coaches and websites are not permitted to diagnose, treat,  or claim to treat medical conditions. 

• I understand that I am using this website and participating in coaching with William Duncan Humphries at my own risk.  Coaching services are provided “as is,” without warranty of any kind, either expressed or implied.  I understand that all services may be received, rejected, or discontinued  by my own free choice at any time.  I understand that I may be coached in multiple areas and disciplines relating to my own stated goals. 

• I acknowledge that I have consulted my physician about receiving, and have been given a physician’s permission to participate in,  coaching and activities relating to, or that may arise out of, my receiving of coaching  or I acknowledge that I have decided to participate in coaching and its activities without the approval of a medical professional and do hereby assume all responsibility and risks of injury from coaching and its activities.   I will consult my physician before starting or making any changes in any activities relating to medication and supplements, alternative therapies and treatments,  and physical activity or exercise  and do hereby assume all responsibility and risks of injury from these activities.   

• If I request advice or direction from my coach, then I agree to not hold my coach responsible or liable in any form or fashion for actions taken by my own free will even if such actions are related to the advice or direction given.  I acknowledge that advice or direction given by my coach, and any manner in which such direction or advice is given,  does not constitute an agreement or liability on part of my coach and I acknowledge such advice or direction to be different  than that found in clinical or psychological counseling. I will not  assume My Acid Reflux Coach is responsible in any way for my actions.  

• I have read,  understand, and accept all of the above statements.
